This winter, I’m taking The Wright Carver on the road through California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. I’m booking on-site stump carvings and custom sculptures along the route for homeowners, ranches, businesses, resorts, and public spaces.

Planned Stops

My route is taking shape around projects and inquiries. Areas I’m currently looking at include:

California:

Sonoma, Big Sur, Ventura and Malibu, and San Diego

Arizona:

Phoenix, Sedona, Prescott, and Flagstaff

Nevada and New Mexico:

Stops are being planned as the route develops

I also welcome inquiries from nearby communities. If your project is a good fit, I can often build a stop around it or coordinate it with other work in the area.

What I Can Create

I carve directly from standing stumps and logs on your property, or create a freestanding sculpture for delivery.

Every design is shaped around the wood, the setting, and what you want the piece to express.

Projects include wildlife, human figures, wood spirits, Sasquatch and other imaginative characters, memorial carvings, signs, benches, and larger statement sculptures.

I’m also happy to explore an idea that doesn’t fit neatly into any of those categories.

How to Get Started

Send me your city and state, a few photos of the stump or project site, and a short description of what you have in mind. If it’s a stump, approximate height, diameter, and tree species are helpful too. Don’t worry if you’re still deciding on a design.

I’ll take a look, talk through what’s possible, and provide a project quote that accounts for the carving and travel. We can then find a time that fits the Southwest route.
